Confirmation is an important step in the baptized Christian's faith journey.  In this sacrament of the church, the candidates affirm the promised made on their behalf at their baptism.

This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands by the confirming bishop.

The Church also asks God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to enable you to live in the way of Jesus.

Candidates are prepared over a period of 8 weeks, one hour per week, at a time to be determined.

For info, contact our parish office 506-328-4304.

Confirmation

A next step in your faith journey!

Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship.

It has been the practice in the Diocese of Fredericton that children who have been baptized are confirmed at the age of 12 yrs (or in Grade 6) and older, by the Bishop.  Adults may also be baptized and confirmed!
